The second, in a three part series, of learning techniques in traditional woodworking with just hand tools. This project is a basic construction of a cabinet. Some techniques performed in this project are: how to form a dado, how to use different handplanes, using a brace and bit, how to make a half lap joint, how to make a basic drawer as well as repeating previous steps learned in the Shaker Box project.
This project refreshes the memory and techniques from the first project and continues to add to your knowledge of woodworking with new joints and construction methods.
