Customers can pick from any chairs on this website. I am open to making reproduction historical chairs if the chair is deemed the best in quality in proportion, design and construction. I encourage any potential clients to visit my gorgeous shop in Adrian, Mi. I enjoy showing people what I do and how I do it. I am in the shop all the time but please give me a bit of notice ahead of time so that I may set time aside for you.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon placing your order. You may pay by personal check through the mail, or by credit card with a 2.7% surcharge. Upon receipt of your deposit, your chair will be placed in the production scheduled for construction and I will inform you of an estimated completion date. Depending on the time of the year and workload, this may be between 6 months and 16 months. I make each chair one by one by myself to ensure that everything is perfect. I can make about one chair per week on average. I have been very fortunate to have many happy customers that have provided me orders and referrals that have me booked for many months ahead of time. Craftsmanship cannot be rushed You will be contacted approximately 10 days before shipping. Any remaining balance must be paid before the order will be shipped.
Delivery can happen in three different ways.
1. Customer pick-up - You may pick-up your piece at my shop at 2300 North Adrian Highway Building 41 in Adrian, Michigan.
2. Delivery to customer by me - This service is available to customers within a reasonable drive of Adrian, Michigan. Please call for a delivery quote.
3. Freight shipping - This is a reliable method for shipping long distances. All shipments are crated and insured for the total cost of the piece of furniture.
